Mendoza: Genneia launches Anchoris, one of Argentina’s largest solar parks

The province has identified areas of significant thickness and thermal maturity within the “Mendoza tongue” of the formation.
During 2025, the company divested approximately 55 mature areas across eight provinces. Quintana Energy, Terra Ignis, Bentia Energy, TSB, PECOM, Petróleos Sudamericanos, Crown Point and PCR are among the new operators.
It began early operations with 140 MW online. The project involved a $180 million investment and features 400,000 solar panels. The electricity generated will be integrated into the Mercado a Término de Energía Renovable (MATER).
The agreement covers construction of the San Jorge 220/33-kilovolt transformer station and a new 220-kilovolt transmission line linking it to the Mendoza Norte station, accelerating project construction and supporting development in Uspallata and the surrounding area.
